Protein Packed Pancakes

Ingredients: (makes 4 servings – 1 severing = 2 pancakes)

  • 6 egg whites
  • 1 Cup rolled oats
  • 2 Scoop of protein powder (optional + your choice of flavour)
  • ¼ Cup Cottage Cheese (optional)Healthy recipe, Protein Pancakes
  • ½ Cup of water
  • 1 tsp. of cinnamon

Additional Extra’s

  • Fruits, berries or nuts
  • Peanut butter
  • Greek Yoghurt
  • Protein ice cream

 

Method:

Put and combine the egg whites, rolled oats, protein powder, cottage cheese and water into a blender and blend till smooth and creamy. If it isn’t becoming smooth and creamy just add a tsp of water until it does. Then add the cinnamon.

 

Put pan on cooker and pre heat. You can either cook in coconut oil or butter. Cook for 2-3 minutes each side until golden. Then serve with any of those extra’s but within moderation.

 

Per serving (2 pancakes) No extra’s.
